Facilities
The tournament will be held at UWCSEA's 3 Sportshalls each consisting of 4 badminton courts. Seating is available for students, coaches and parents. Please note that spectators should not be court side. Tournament Structure Pool A: Pool B: Seed #1 Seed #2 Seed #4 Seed #3 Seed #5 Seed #6 Seed #8 Seed #7 Round Robin, followed by Quarter Finals (A#1 vs B#4, A#2 vs B#3, A#3 vs B#2, A4# vs B#1), followed by Semi Finals (Plate and Cup ) and Finals for positional placings. Order of play Will be Singles 1, Singles 2, Singles 3, Doubles 1 and Doubles 2. See SEASAC rules for seedings. Shuttlecocks The official tournament shuttle will be Li Ning SG Gold Awards Each school will be awarded 1 MVP awards which will be presented at the awards on day 3. The coaches from each school will decide on the recipients from their team. |
Campus Security
Schools will be dropped off at the sportshall. Coaches will need to wear the security passes issued to enter the campus and to be worn during the event. These will be made available before the event begins. Please ensure that all are vigilant with valuables and belongings as UWCSEA does not hold any responsibility for these. Parents can use the event pass below to access the campus Food Lunches will be provided each day as well as the welcome dinner on Thursday. The school coffee shop will be open throughout the weekend with drinks and snacks available for purchase. The school does not have an ATM so please bring cash with you for additional snacks Menu To be confirmed Medical There will be a nurse on call. Should we need to take an athlete for hospital treatment, we will use Changi General Hospital depending if an ambulance is required. .Staff are requested to ensure that they can provide all necessary contact details and documents for insurance purposes and have the funds to cover expenses incurred. Water There will be water provided at the playing venues. Schools should ensure that athletes bring a water bottle that they can refill when necessary. Water cups will not be provided Transport Overseas schools will be provided with transport between the airport to hotel, hotel to school and school to airport. SEASAC Privacy Statement
Any photos or material on the SEASAC websites is for the use of the athletes, teams and coaches. This can be shared with friends and family of the SEASAC athletes but can not be reused, redistributed or used in any way other than to celebrate SEASAC sport and activities. Any photos of students taken at SEASAC events by parents/coaches/athletes may not be published, shared or used in a public/online forum.
The official photographers will be easily identifiable by all students and supporters and they should follow the host school’s code of conduct in terms of privacy of material.
